Big News!

Most of you have probably heard that Sarah and the crew have moved from their beloved midwest down to Atlanta, Georgia!  It has been a huge move, and a very daunting task to clear out the studio and get everything moved down here in one piece.  Our new studio and home includes several acres, a retail space, studio space, barn for the horses, and a brand new (to us) old farmhouse to call our own.  Stay with us as we post pictures of the kitchen gardens, the flowers, and all thats new and fun at Fortryllelse!  We feel like we are embarking on a whole new adventure and one that will give us the opportunity to spend more time working, and creating a world of fantasy!

So look for the new products forthcoming!, t-shirts, pewter ornaments, fabric blocks, gift bags, stationary, box sets of greeting cards, calenders, totes, new designs for jewelry boxes and journals, many new ceramic items such as hand mirrors and clocks, candleholders, sconces, marble wall hangings and cutting boards and kitchen canisters, all with a bit ‘o whimsy from the Fortryllelse Crew!

You may have noticed a new Feline Fae posted under “Fairy Cats”.  This is the first piece of art I have completed since my carpal tunnel release in August.  The next piece I plan to tackle is the completion of this one started in early August.  As yet unnamed.  It is still a work in progress. 

  Thanks to all who bought originals during the throes of holiday gift giving madness.  We realize that it can be expensive to do all your holiday shopping, and to also buy bigger dollar items at this time.  Bright Blessings to all and enjoy your new treasures!

On a personal note, we have been very busy at the studio getting ready to launch many new items.  Stay tuned for our January update for more!

So many things this month!  First off, The figurines are down to four left before Christmas.  Gosh, they have done fantastically well.  Thanks so much to my fairy friends for your wonderful reception as we dive into the world of 3-d Fortryllelse Art Sales!  We have also been doing some special run figurines in limited edition of only 25 ever in the world.  Check out our Ebay listings to snag one of these super special hand detailed pieces with all the special goodies that go with them.  Ebay user Blackbirdsterling.  We will also be retiring some images.  All the birthstone fairies will be gone by March 1st as well as Elemental Wizard.  We will also be retiring Sirena’s Treasure, Purple Merqueen and Black Pearl.

More products up and coming for the crafts area are special acetate or  fairy wings straight from the backs of Fortryllelse Fae.  We are thrilled to be contributing to the creative lives of our friends who can now make any little girl, kitty, frog or … guinea pig a real Fortryllelse Fairy.  Perfect for doll-makers.  See our ebay listings as they come up. 

 The first 4 resin figurines have been released by LTT international.   They will be available shortly, as soon as we get them in we will post them for sale to you!  In the meantime look for them at local giftshops and online.  I am thrilled with them, they really did a beautiful job with them.  When we start offering them for sale we will be including a matching signed greeting card which makes it a perfect gift!

   Well, Im back from showing at the FaerieCon.  I had a fantastic time, and got to finally meet all my fairy friends in person after all these years of chatting via the internet.  It was the first year of this show and I am thrilled to have been a part of it.  I sold very well, and I want to thank everyone for coming out and seeing us, it was great fun to sign your 500 Fairy Motifs books, and your Drawing and Painting Fairies books.  I also got to meet a woman who has immortalized my art into tattoos!  How flattering that is!  (I want a picture for my site!)  Let me tell you, Elfstone is getting dangerously close to the end of the print run.  I am sad to say, if you want her in your home you probably better act fast.  I only have 30 left and that is all that remains in the world!  Photos to come!
